Title: Using Oracle Global Data Services (GDS) for automated workload management across Active Data Guard or Oracle Goldengate replicas

Oracle GoldenGate and Active Data Guard allow for distribution of application workloads across replicated databases, but it is a challenge to efficiently use all the databases for best performance and availability. In the 2014 Oracle OpenWorld, I discussed how the Global Data Services feature of Oracle Database provides locality-based workload routing, load balancing, and service failover across replicas.
